Fresh Apple Kimchi

Red apples.

Fresh apple kimchi is crunchy, refreshing, and a delicious unexpected mash up of sweet and spicy. Enjoy it on its own, toss it into a salad, or get creative and let us know how you use apple kimchi for.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium crisp apples (Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala work great)

  • 1-2 Tablespoons Mashi Kimchi Paste, or to taste

Steps:

  1. Wash and core the apples. Slice them into thin wedges or matchsticks—whatever shape you like best.

  2. In a bowl, toss the apples with Mashi Kimchi Paste until fully coated.

  3. Serve immediately as a side dish, or chill for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
